We are currently pursuing Nature based solutions to the climate change problem through our Tree & Flowers Nursery in Likoni , our Trees & flowers sales outlets in Likoni & Kombani and through our Food Forest in Ukunda.
Our efforts translates to Decent jobs for young people and immense benefits to the environment including Carbon sequestration, Landscape Restoration, Reduced Temperature, Healthy soils & Biodiversity.
Gardening Galore—established by Daughters of Destiny Children’s Trust and Stichting Likoni Onderneemt during the 2020 COVID lockdown in Mombasa—actively contributes to the circular economy through several innovative, impactful practices.

Trees are essential to all life on earth. They give us oxygen, clean air, food, protection, coolness and water. Forests are important for biodiversity and provide a habitat for countless plants and animals. Forests also play a major role in tackling climate change. So it is important that we protect and restore our existing forests and plant new ones.
